Different tutorials relate to gas and retrograde condensate wells. You will find different ways to model the IPR, calibrate/match well models, evaluate the performance and perform sensitivity analysis.
Basic example gas well model construction – PROSPER
Load PVT and system data into Prosper. Load data to calculate IPR, using Jones model. Perform a system calculation using a 1000 psig top node pressure
Starting from tutorial 2, the user must generate the well IPR, and then perform a sensitivity analysis to study how much does the WHP impacts on the gas rate.
Gas well modellling Hydraulic Fracture performance – PROSPER
The hydraulic fracture IPR model is introduced in this example of a gas well, where sensitivities are done to the fracture half length and conductivity. Then, other sensitivities are carried out to explore different production scenarios, such as wellhead pressure reduction, tubing size increase. Finally, the P/z abandonment value is obtained for this well.
The user must construct a gas and condensate well model and obtain the expected gas production rate for a 1500 psi WHP. After that, perform sensitivity analysis to tubing size increase and WHP reduction (compression).
User begins from scratch, must construct the well model and select multilayer in the IPR section. Sensitivity analysis must be performed, to WHP and tubing diameter, to determine which one has a bigger impact on the gas rate.
The user must generate the multilateral well model and perform sensibility analysis to determine the contribution of the branches at different well head pressures
Offshore condensate well Enthalpy balance Flow assurance – PROSPER
Construct a gas and condensate well model for an offshore field, check if hydrate development is possible using the enthalpy balance temperature model.
Learn the procedure to identify liquid loading issues in a gas well model. Learn how to model this type of wells and analyse different solutions to overcome the liquid loading issues.
In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to create a gas and condensate well model, how to import an equation of state and create a hydrate and wax formation curve. We will also demonstrate how to determine the wax formation risk zone.
Annular and Tubing Flow Gas and Condensate well model – PROSPER
Construct a gas and condensate well model, obtain the expected gas production rate for a given well head pressure. Evaluate the performance of the well for tubing flow, annular flow and both.
Review the well model creation process of a gas well model. Match the model using different measurements, like dynamic gradients, incomplete tests and multirate tests.
In this tutorial we will create a horizontal fractured well model and then optimize production by performing sensitivity analysis to different variables (fracture design, tubing size, number of fractures).
Using PROSPER and Excel to estimate gas reserves – PROSPER
In this tutorial we will evaluate gas reserves using material balance concepts, such as the P/Z plot, and PROSPER to evaluate flow conditions at different reservoir pressures.
Gas production forecast using PROSPER and OpenServer – PROSPER
A gas field has been in production since January 2014. The engineer must evaluate the production forecast according to the actual production conditions, using Gas material balance concepts (P/z plot), and the calculation system that PROSPER provides.
Evaluate well performance under different choke settings – PROSPER
We are going to evaluate the performance of the well under different choke configurations. How to add a choke element to the well model. How to run sensitivity analysis to the choke diameter, and how to use the Calculation | Choke Performance menu.
